Redback Connect helps Australian and New Zealand organisations connect across distance in two ways. We provide convenient and innovative tele, web and video conferencing services to help your teams communicate and collaborate. We also design and deliver high quality digital events from concept to completion for your marketing and training teams including webinar programs, studio broadcasts and live streaming.

The Evolution Of Redback

2007

Redback Conferencing is co-founded by entrepreneurs Jeff Downs and Peter Matsumoto to provide managed, integrated audio and web conferencing services to the Australian market, combining state-of-the-art innovation with execution excellence and local support.

2010

Redback expands from conferencing into video content, launching a range of new products including managed webinar programs and live event streaming, that take the stress out of digital events and enable our customers to connect with bigger audiences than ever before. “Now You’re Talking” was the tag line for the company.

2012

As our customer base and team grows, Redback invest in corporate culture as much as business development, establishing strong cultural foundations based on the values of customer-centricity, excellence, accountability and harmony, backed by a corporate social responsibility program.

2015

Redback continues to expand, opening an office and broadcast studios in Melbourne CBD.

2017

Redback turns 10 as the global conferencing industry is redefined by new technologies and competitors. We restructure for innovation-led growth focused on managed digital events and frictionless conferencing. Our goal for the next decade? To connect 10 million customers by 2020.

2019

Redback Conferencing rebrands as Redback Connect. Redback operates two very different businesses, Day to Day Collaboration Services and Digital Event Services. Redback launches a series of world-first products including One Touch and Dial Out conferencing services that call you. Our innovation objective is to enable our customers to connect with even greater ease and immediacy.
